Frequently asked questions

Can I return an item?

Because items are one of a kind, exchanges are not available. If you have a problem with your item, notify me right away. Refunds are based on a one to one basis. If I haven't explained the whole item through the description, (not just the picture or title) a refund may be in order. Be sure to read the WHOLE description. Looking at the picture or the headline doesn't always tell the whole story.
Buyer's remorse is not a valid reason for returns.
Ask questions if something is unclear BEFORE you make a purchase.

An authorized return must be made within 7 working days. A refund will be made to your account when I receive the item. When returning an item it is the customer's responsibility to pay the shipping.

Care instructions

Because all the items in my shop are vintage, it is not likely that they come with instructions attached for using or cleaning. Vintage dishes and linens are at risk of being damaged when they are not handled gently. Hand washing is strongly suggested.

Shipping and Handling Fees

I work hard at shipping your purchase safely, and the handling fee reflects how things are packed.

Boxes, padded envelopes, paper, foam, bubble wrap and tape all cost something. Withe the exception of heavy items like dishes, the handling fees are .50 to 1.50. I absorb the rest of shipping supplies to keep shipping prices low.
If there weren't these added fees, then the price of the items you purchase would be increased. I do not profit from using these items.

What if my package isn't delivered?

It's my responsibility to package your items so they arrive safely. Each item comes with tracking information so you can see where it is once it's shipped.

It is the buyers responsibility to provide a safe place for delivery. If you know you won't be home, you might want to have your package delivered to your workplace. Contact me before purchasing if you want Signature Confirmation. This Postal servicet costs around $3.00.

Do you combine multiple purchases?

Sometimes the combined shipping is very high at checkout as computing puts things in too large a box. As I print labels I re-weigh packages to give you the best price and refund any postal overages.

What if my item arrives broken?

There are two reasons for broken items.
1. The box arrives undamaged and items inside are broken. This means I didn't wrap the item well enough.
2. The box arrived ripped, torn, dented or crushed and the contents were damaged. This means the box was damaged in transit.

As soon as you receive a damaged item for one of those two reasons, take a picture of the box from different angles, the packaging, and broken item. Contact me then contact your local postal service.
